Dr. Jim Wright practices dentistry in a holistic manner. This means that he pays close attention to the overall impact of oral health, as well as dental treatments, on the body. In both, a cause-and-effect relationship has far-reaching consequences. Dr. Wright holds himself to a higher standard of general dentistry, which seeks to repair obvious problems, and provides care that strives to determine and treat the root cause of disease.

General Dentistry

Dental care is considered important to health and wellness. Your dentist performs an evaluation and diagnostic testing to detect dental problems like cavities or gum disease as quickly as possible, and treats such problems in a way that restores comfort, function, and beauty. Many general dentists, in addition to providing basic dental exams, also perform restorative procedures such as root canal therapy, dental crowns, or even dental implants.

Dentists work with patients to promote oral health, and demonstrate the proper home habits to prevent damage from dental caries, or cavities. At Four Seasons Dental Spa, we do all that we can to encourage our patients to maintain regular dental visits. Our comfortable office is designed around your needs.

Holistic Dentistry

When we think about the mouth, we can easily see the connection to the body in that the mouth is the portal through which we gain nutrients through food. Research has shown, however, that the mouth plays a somewhat silent role in our general health, as well. Studies show that 80 percent of disease begins in the mouth. We now understand that the presence of gum disease is linked to a number of chronic health conditions, many of them frightening. These include respiratory disease, pregnancy complications and low birth weight, heart disease, stroke, and diabetes.
